The new Garmin Approach S5 GPS Watch features a hi-res color touchscreen with built in maps for over 38,000 courses.

With push of a button, the Garmin S5 will bring up CourseView maps, allowing the golfer to see the true shape and layout of the entire hole.

The new screen on the S5 is a very bright, glove friendly touchscreen for easy viewing on bright, sunny days.

Using the touch screen, the golfer can touch any point on the hole layout, and the G5 will display how far it is to that point.

Bluetooth connectivity makes sure that all texts, emails, and other alerts are sent directly to the S5.

The Green View on the Garmin S5 displays the true shape of the green, and allows the golfer to move the pin around on the green to the true location for that round. This provides the golfer with incredibly accurate yardage to the pin.

Garmin Connect is included with the watch. With Garmin Connect the golfer is part of an online golf community where stats from the round are shared and compared with others. The enhanced stat tracking will keep track of greens hit, fairways hit, and putts for the round.

The S5 gives the golfer all of the yardage information you can imagine. Doglegs, lay-up spots, individual shot distances, and custom points are all provided.

Rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours in GPS mode and 20 weeks in watch mode.

Excellent Product but you pay for it.

So far yardages have been very accurate.

Higher resolution screen and longer battery life the on the S5 are nice.

Color graphic of the hole does not have much detail, but the ability to see roughly where your average drive will land and seeing the shape of the green are nice features.

Dropped my rating down a little due to the relatively high price.
