Best in the Business

I play competitively and getting accurate yardages for a course I am not familiar with is vital. Nothing is more accurate than this. I can't think of one thing that this could do better.

Bushnell Pro X7 Jolt Slope - still adjusting

I think I like it but I am still getting use to it. I have had three generations of Sky Caddie and still use it. I bought the X7 because one of the clubs I belong to did away with the red, white, blue pin system to all white. Getting older, depth perception is diminishing so I purchased the X7. The biggest problem for me is a steady hand. I have to be careful to not pick up the wrong object. I guess my concerns so far is one, I don't always get a "jolt" on the yardage, why I don't know. Second, I was anxious to see the slope readings on certain holes that were either downhill or had elevated greens. The slope yardage has been + or - 3 or 4 yards different than the first reading. I am a 8 handicap so I don't know that the slope difference is critical or worth the extra money. That being said, playing predominately at two clubs with large greens the combination of knowing the front and back yardage via sky caddie and the laser reading really helps me in my club selection.
