  • SLDR sliding weight promotes up to 30 yards of shot shape adjustment.

Favorite TaylorMade Driver

My favorite TaylorMade driver so far! Love the look at address, and the it has a sound that is truly one of beauty. The sliding weight is super simple to use which I was a bit weary of but really happy overall with this club!

GET THIS CLUB

I tried this driver at a sporting store and then bought it online for the savings. Even though all the drivers now have the ability to customize for draw or fade, the SLDR was by far the easiest one to change around. The launch angle of my drives was noticeably increased and it's A LOT easier to look at than the other TM drivers I've used before. As a full disclosure, I am a Taylormade guy all the way, but the SLDR is my favorite by far!

Best driver I've ever tried

I bought the 9.5 degree SLDR. After a few rounds and one visit to the range I found that moving the loft to 10 degrees and the bias one notch to draw resulted in hits that were much more consistent and a full 15 yards farther than my Cobra AMP driver.

I like the distance I hit with it. I get an extra 20-25 yards with it. I am in my forties and still hit it with the 20 year olds. I am working on shaping the ball with it. It is not as easy to shape the ball with this driver. I had the Taylormade Burner before and liked it, just not as long. I have been playing Taylormade clubs for several years and like them very much.

Long

Reviews said it was long, but until you drive it yourself you'll never know just how much longer it really is. I played with the adjustments (which were very easy to adjust) and it did not take long to find the sweet spot. I'm driving it like I did 15 years ago. This is the first driver I have bought in awhile, usually build them myself, but I can't deny the extra yardage of this driver.

Highly recommend this driver
