M1 Driver - Believe the Hype

Firstly - the config. M1 460cc head, 9.5 deg (turned down 0.5 deg), Kura TiNi Stiff shaft, Winn DryTac midsize. Callaway Hex Chrome.

I'm 55 y/o, 10 HCCP and have lost flexibility and strength over the years. General drive is 240 yds with my SLDR 460.

Took the M1 to a Course that Jack N. designed in Crossville TN. Tuned the weights a bit on the range and headed out. First hole is D/L right with fairway run out at 290 to the first cut before the leg from the Blues. I ran the first drive right to the collar, far side. Every drive after that surpassed my usual landing zone by 30-45 yds - Consistently. This my first round with the M1 set of Driver, 3-Metal, and 3-Rescue.

The hype was "Best Ever", "Game Changer", "Wicked Long".

Believe everything you hear. The club is "Awesome " out of the box. With a bit more tuning, this could get me back to the 300 yd range before Spring.

So after all the hype, I'm adding "BEAST" to the list.

@tailormade -You Nailed It. Now, I'm Nailing It Too.
