The Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 CB Black Satin wedge incorporates the new Rotex 2.0 face pattern for deeper grooves and a cavity back (CB) design allowing perimeter weighting for increased forgiveness on off-center hits.

The Cavity Back (CB) model has a slightly larger profile giving you confidence at address and the same face milling as the entire 588 RTX 2.0 product line.

The face of the 588 RTX 2.0 CB uses Tour Zip Grooves to move grass, moisture and dirt ensuring pure contact and consistent spin.

The manufacturing process of the 588 RTX 2.0 CB face adds the Rotex 2.0 micro-milling face pattern increasing surface roughness and friction to the limit of USGA allowances.

The Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 CB Black Satin Wedges come with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Steel Shaft, the #1 wedge shaft on tour for more than 30 years.

  • 588 RTX 2.0 Technology - Rotex face technology has changed the face of spin in golf. Rotex 2.0 takes spin control to another level. 15% sharper grooves and micro-milled Rotex face pattern give these wedges the most maximum surface roughness the USGA will allow.

  • Laser Milling - The micro-roughness gives more consistency across the face, and allows the face to reach the USGA roughness limit allowing for maximum spin on pitch and chip shots.

  • Rotex Milling - 2-Pass micro milling pattern provides strategically designed roughness allows for maximum roughness and spin.

  • Tour Zip Grooves - Fourth generation Tour Zip Grooves feature steeper walls and sharper radii than ever before, allowing for cleaner contact and more consistent spin.

  • Tour Proven Design - The evolution of the 588 RTX 2.0 wedges began by listening to some of the best players in the world. Working in cooperation with elite tour staffers like Graeme McDowell, Keegan Bradley, and Hideki Matsuyama, our engineers were able to pinpoint the challenges players face from 125 yards and in and seek out solutions to help them score better.

Great GW

I bought this version for my gap wedge because I use that for mostly full shots and the cavity back is a little more forgiving. Very happy with it.

588 RTX 2.0 wedge

Keep in mind that perimeter weighting with increased forgiveness means a slighty larger clubhead which means it might not work as well in heavy rough. For me, it is good trade off. I like the weight, look, feel, and performance.

Another great club to add to the bag

I previously purchased this same wedge in a 52 degree model. The 56 degree version filled the gap for the short wedge shot that needs to clear a hazard and roll a controlled distance. It's become one of my favorite clubs in just 5 rounds.

GREAT LOOKS, GREAT FEEL, OUTSTANDING RESPONSE

I bought this club to fill the gap between my sand wedge and pitching wedge. This club is perfect. It looks, feels, and swings great. Easy to swing and fills the gap perfectly! I would say this is the best wedge I have ever owned and may replace my sand wedge to get this same comfort and confidence.

Good Wedges

My ball was always rolling off the back of the green. These wedges are great for adding a bit of backspin on the ball so that doesn't happen.

Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 CB Black Satin Wedge

This was a little heavier than my last cleveland wedge. However, with a little practice at the range I found that it to be very solid, easy to hit, nice loft and go stopping on the green. I found it easier to keep pitch shots on the green.

Good club

The wedge is good looking and performs well. Moreover, shots hit with it stop quickly. Very pleased.

JUSTIFIABLE BUY

I bought this club to replace a Callaway Jaws and it was a great choice. The weight feels great and when the call is struck it too feels great! I like the look and non reflective color. It swings with ease and picks the ball up easily off tight lies. Great club.
