Replaced a set of Wilson R-29's, purchased 40 years ago when I was in high school (maybe a $700 set adjusted for inflation). Should have made a change earlier, but an aching back was telling me this was the time. Of all the sets available, the Strata had the largest amount and best feedback.
Have twice taken the set out to the range. What a difference! The driver absolutely hammers the ball - I've never been able to hit so far. And the irons are a good bit longer; 6 iron is 160 yards, versus 135 previously.
A few challenges, all on me. First, the hybrid woods are pretty long, at least 200 yards. This leaves a bit of a gap between the shortest hybrid and the 6 iron, as if hitting 185 on the spot was my biggest concern (LOL).
Too, the standard 1-3-5 woods have graphite shafts. I have to tell myself to slow down (!!!!) and let the club do the work, which they truly do. And, the ball just flies off the face of the wedges, so I will have to re-learn how to hit a lob. The first few I tried to toss were launching 100 yards.
Being new, I cannot speak to the durability. Out of the box though, everything seemed perfectly in order and working well. I am looking forward to using these sticks on the course.
